When I decided to spend my Saturday shopping for couches, I did not expect that it would take me over an hour to choose one. Don’t get me wrong, my advisor was amazing and answered about every question I flung her way, but it was still a struggle to choose the right one. Why is there so many factors that go into choosing the ‘prefect’ couch? To list a few of the characteristics, we have; the height, the width, the colour, the shape, the cushion ‘fit’. Now those who are experienced adults and home owners, because I am now categorising myself as a fresh adult, know the struggles and I can only imagine have become a professional within this process. Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated. But boy, do I have a lot to learn!
As a newby house owner, it is becoming apparent to me that I struggle to make decisions about decor. First, it was the rug in the hallway, then it was the position of the piano, now it’s the couch. Maybe one day, I’ll have the confidence to change the colour of the walls….
